Etat des Lieux des Stratégies de Tricherie par les Etudiants et Moyens de Lutte contre à l'Université d'Abomey-Calavi

Abstract

The main concern of the current research paper is to check wethether the anti-fraud measures in force at Abomey Calavi University overcome the cheating strategies develpoped by the students. To carry out the research, a mixed methodological approach enabled to collect both quantitative and qualitative data on Abomey-Calavi campus as well as on the high school teacher training school at Porto-Novo, from a sample of 210 various actors. As results, it comes out that cheating is a reality known to all and even tolerated, since cases of cheating prosecution are scarce. Although the rating of the13 cheating strategies ranks the line defence and glancing on top, glancing and whisperring conversations proved to be the most used cheatng strategies, which the anti-fraud measures are unable to defeat due to the lack of material evidence.
