dc.description.abstractDiabetes non mellitus, a rare disease at the intensive care unit of the National University Teaching Hospital of Cotonou: About a case Diabetes non mellitus is a serious metabolic disease that results from a hormonal disorder. The man-agement often requires critical care support. The purpose of this paper was to describe the circum-stances of the diagnosis and management of a case of kidney origin non mellitus diabetes in a 68 year-old patient. The appearance of postoperative delirium styling polyuria held to suspicion of endo-crine disorder. The support of an advanced medical platform had enabled diagnosis and ensured ade-quate care. It is advisable to think of diabetes non mellitus when occurs polyuria even in postoperative.
