Abstract
La grammaticalisation est un processus diachronique bien connu dans les langues naturelles. Elle transforme un mot purement lexical en morphème ou structure grammaticale. Les locatifs en fongbè se présentent comme un cas grammatical exprimant la localisation. Cette étude essaie d’analyser les rapports complexes qu’entretiennent les différents processus de grammaticalisation et de lexicalisation dans une langue Kwa. Elle s’inspire de Heine (1997) qui postule que les locatifs sont dérivés historiquement des termes désignant les parties du corps.

ABSTRACT The grammaticalization is a diachronic process well known in the natural languages. It transforms a purely lexical word into morpheme or grammatical structure. These locatives in fongbè are presented in the form of a grammatical case expressing the localization. This study tries to analyze the complex relations which the various processes of grammaticalization maintain and by lexiconizing in a Kwa language. Its takes as a starting point Heine (1997) who postulates that the locatives are historically derived from the terms indicating the parts of the body.
