LA FORMATION DES MOTS EN GBE: STRUCTURES ET INTERPRETATIONS DES NOMS FORTS ‘NYISYENSYEN’ DE SOUVERAIN FON D’ABOMEY

Abstract

La présente recherche porte sur le système onomastique fon dans une approche lexico-sémantique. Elle se propose de montrer d’une part que les noms forts sont surtout motivés par l’environnement sociopolitique et économique dans lesquels vivent leurs porteurs et d’autre part, du point de vue syntaxique par les parties du discours associées dans la structure interne des noms. Dans leur formation, il s’agit de créer une nouvelle unité lexicale à partir des unités lexématiques de base autonome du point de vue sémantique, syntaxique et morphologique. On peut se demander ici, en quoi les principes d’attribution des ‘noms forts’ fon sont-ils différents de ceux des noms de personnes ? Aussi, pour les analyser, proposons-nous de les replacer nécessairement dans leur contexte d’énoncé complet. L’outil théorique d’analyse utilisé s’inspire de Corbin D. (1991:37) à propos des noms construits.

Abstract 260 Present research carries on the onomastic system fon in an approach lexico-semantics. It proposes to show on the one hand that the strong names are especially justified by the environment sociopolitic and economic in which their carriers live and on the other hand, from the syntactic point of view by the parts of speech associated in the internal structure of the names. In their formation, it is a question of creating a new lexeme starting from the basic lexematic units autonomous from the semantic, syntactic and morphological point of view. One can wonder here, in what the principles of attribution of the ‘noms forts’ fon are different from those of the surnames? Also, to analyze them, we propose to necessarily replace them in their context of complete statement. The theoretical tool for analysis used, takes as a starting point Corbin D. (1991:37) in connection with the built names.
