Hygrothermal behavior of building envelope affects its overall performance. The device presented in this work is used to identify the coefficient of mass diffusivity and the sorption isotherms of Teak from adsorption/desorption experimental cycles. In tangential direction, for an equilibrium moisture range from 0% to 23.5%, mass diffusivity in desorption is higher than those obtained in adsorption. Results obtained in this paper are suitable for a proper use of teak in construction.
