SHADOW LEMMA ON FINSLER MANIFOLDS OF HYPERBOLIC TYPE

Abstract

Let ( M , F ) be a compact Finsler manifold of hyperbolic type, and M  F be its universal Finsle- rian covering. In this paper we show that the growth function of the volume of geodesic balls of M  F is of purely exponential type.
