dc.description.abstractThe Brazilian energy system is facing challenges such as increasing energy demand, the need for a more sus- tainable energy matrix, and the integration of renewable energy sources. In this context, the Internet of Energy (IoE) offers promising solutions to optimize the generation, transmission, and consumption of energy. This article explores the potential applications of the Internet of Energy in the Brazilian energy system, discussing its benefi ts, challenges, and future prospects.
